Consumer Reports put out an alert regarding eye injuries and the use of Laundry Detergent single use detergent pods and children.
These individual detergent packets have great color combos and are small enough to resemble candy in a child’s mind. Previous warnings have been given from the Cleaning Institute to “keep these and all detergent products up or locked out of reach from children”. Accidental poisoning and vomiting have occurred when ingested by youngsters who view these packets as a sweet treat. Now there is further concern regarding eye injury from mishandling of the detergent pods.
